Ever wonder what ADHD coaching actually does for you?

The Weekly Level Up

Let's level up our ADHD lives a little, shall we?

One of the most common questions I get is:

“So … what is ADHD coaching, exactly?”

And sure, I’ve got the FAQ-style answer on my website. (You can read it here, if you’re the practical type.)

But the real answer? The one that matters most to me personally?

It’s this: ADHD coaching is about finally being able to see yourself.

Not the mask you’ve had to wear to get through the day.

Not the mess or the missed deadlines or the internal chaos.

Not just the dropped balls or the stuff that makes you feel like a walking cautionary tale.

It’s about seeing the real you.

The you underneath all the coping and pushing and pretending.

And then figuring out how to build a life that works with that version of you.

When I was going through ADHD coach training, I spent months in classes with the same small group. We laughed together, cried together, and learned about our brains, our habits, and how to support others with ADHD.

And on the last day, when our instructor asked us to share final thoughts about the experience we'd had, I said something I didn’t even realize was true until the words came out:

“I like myself more now than I ever have before.”

Not because I had changed so much. Not because I was suddenly all fixed and "normal" now. But because I understood myself, and I felt understood by the people around me.

That was the surprising gift coaching gave me.

And it’s what I hope to offer every client I work with.

Because having someone who gets it — really gets it — can change everything.

It’s not about “fixing” you. It’s about helping you show up as more of you … while still, you know, keeping the lights on and getting dinner on the table sometimes.

If that kind of support is something you’re curious about, I’d love to invite you to check out 1-on-1 coaching with me. You can learn more here or schedule a free discovery call here.

P.S. I keep a few 1-on-1 coaching spots open at a reduced rate to help make ADHD support more accessible — because support shouldn’t feel out of reach just because life is expensive. Right now, I’ve got two of those spots open. Hit reply to this email and let me know if that's something you'd like to get further info on.

And if you're not ready for coaching, that’s okay, too. Just know: you are not broken. You’re just wired differently — and there’s support out here for that. And there are people — lots and lots of people — who know how you feel.

Cheers,

Kim 💙

The Weekly Level Up Let's level up our ADHD lives a little, shall we? If you have ADHD — or you’re raising a tiny ADHD human — you already know that multi-step instructions are the enemy. You tell your kid, “Go brush your teeth, put on your shoes, and grab your backpack.” And what happens? They run off to do the thing. Their brain only processes step one. Five minutes later, they’re standing in the kitchen holding their toothbrush, looking confused. Been there. So, here’s what I've been doing...

The Weekly Level Up Let's level up our ADHD lives a little, shall we? Here's something I wish someone had told me years ago: Joy is not something you have to earn. Not with productivity. Not with a clean house. Not with a cleared inbox or a perfectly executed morning routine. But when you live with ADHD, it can feel like joy needs to be deserved. Like you haven’t done “enough” to earn the right to relax. Like fun, rest, or even a snack you enjoy has to be withheld until you’ve suffered your...
